Home / Our Portfolio / Training Course Platform

The client is a leading training course provider in Australia with a track record of developing many nationally accredited training courses. They wanted us to design a custom theme that would change based on a user profile for their course platform. We were asked to develop a completely new solution that was previously never seen in the market.

Challenges We Faced

Customized theme design by Getsmartcoders

The biggest challenge we faced was developing a theme that would switch automatically after detecting a user role. Developing a one of solution that was not seen on any website or training portal before and integrating different website technologies like HTML, CSS and PHP to work seamlessly together were the other challenges that we faced.

What We Rolled In

Use of Different Web technologies

We leveraged the visual features of CSS and the back end efficiency of PHP to develop a customized theme. We designed the theme to change after the user profile is detected by the back end of the system. Using two different web technologies enabled us to bring this one off solution to work smoothly.

Development of Profile Detection Feature

The system was designed to detect if a user was a student or an admin and display the theme accordingly. We designed the parent theme to overlap with the client preferred stock there to give the user a bespoke feel. The HTML, CSS and PHP scripts were optimized to work seamlessly with each other.

Regular Updates

We deployed a dedicated project head to evaluate the performance of the changing theme on the client website. Regular updates were released according as per the upgradation schedule agreed upon with the client. This well-coordinated effort helped in on-time launch of the custom application.
